Because JM23 insulation brick with smaller bulk density whose strength is not as strong as heavy weight fire bricks, when delivering, CH Refractories will package mullite insulating brick with special packages to protect mullite bricks from damage.
Mullite thermal insulation brick to mullite based crystal phase of high aluminum refractory material we call mullite light thermal insulation brick. General alumina content between 40% ~ 70%. In addition to mullite, the mineral composition contains a small amount of vitreous phase and quartzite in those with low alumina content. The advantage of lightweight mullite insulation brick is that it can contact the flame and is directly used for the lining of high temperature kiln.
