Corundum castable refractory is divided into cement-free corundum castable refractory and cement corundum castable refractory. Also there are different kinds of corundum castables refractory made by CH refractories company according to different raw material. For example, white fused alumina manufactured corundum castable refractory, brown fused alumina manufactured corundum castable refractory.
Casting method is usually used for construction, which can be either cast into a whole lining or cast into prefabricated blocks for splicing on site. Corundum castable is characterized by high strength, high softening temperature under load and good slag resistance. It is generally used at 1400~1600℃ and is mainly used in key parts of thermal kiln. Large volume density, generally above 2.8, large thermal conductivity, good heat transfer performance, suitable for high temperature environment with large temperature changes, this kind of castable can replace the use of high-quality high-charge soft high-aluminum brick;
Corundum castable refractory has good properties of high strength, good high temperature performance, stable volume, low thermal conductivity, strong resistance to slag penetration, erosion resistance, convenient construction, strong furnace structure.
Applications of Corundum Castable:
Steel furnace, cement kiln, glass kiln, iron making furnace, ceramic tunnel kiln and so on.
